Purposes and legal basis of the processing

In accordance with Art. 2 Para. 6 BayHSchG, Art. 4 Para. 1 S. 1 and 2 BayEGovG, we offer our services and administrative services as well as information for the public about our activities on our websites.
Our social media appearances are part of our public relations work. Our aim is to inform and exchange information with you in a target group-oriented manner, Art. 2 para. 6 BayHSchG . We enable you to contact us electronically and communicate directly via the media of your choice, § 5 Abs. 1 Nr. 2 TMG.
We will disclose content and contributions, inquiries that violate the rights of third parties or that constitute a criminal offence or regulatory offence, or that do not comply with legal or contractual obligations to conduct, by transmitting them to the responsible authority or social media service, and block or delete them.
We use cookies, log files, statistics of the social media providers, Google Custom Search and the web analysis tool Matomo to compile business statistics, to carry out organisational investigations, to check or maintain our web service and to guarantee network and information security in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 BayDSG, § 13 Para. 7 TMG, Art. 11 Para. 1 BayEGovG. As far as the purpose of processing is not affected, we make personal data anonymous or pseudonymous.

Administration and editing

For administration and editing, function identifiers and personal identifiers are created with access protection mechanisms and changes made with these identifiers are logged.

Log files
When you call up these or other Internet pages, you transmit data to our web server via your Internet browser. The following data is recorded during an ongoing connection for communication between your Internet browser and our web server:

  • Date and time of the request
  • Name of the requested file
  • Page from which the file was requested
  • Access status (for example, file transferred, file not found)
  • The web browser and screen resolution used and the operating system used
  • Complete IP address of the requesting computer
  • Data volume transferred

Encryption

Information sent over the Internet without encryption can be viewed by others during transmission. This applies to e-mails, but also when visiting websites. The web contents of the THD are therefore transmitted encrypted via HTTPS.

Server Log

Every access to this website and every retrieval of data is logged by the server. This serves only internal system-related purposes. The following data is processed:

  • Quantity of data sent
  • Source/reference from which you accessed the site
  • Used browser
  • Operating system used
  • IP address used

These data cannot be assigned to specific people. This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to check these data subsequently if we become aware of concrete indications of illegal use.

Administration and Editing
Personalised administration and editorial access to our website will be restricted in processing after the person concerned has left and will be deleted one year after the end of the year in which the person left.

Log files
As a rule, personal data are kept for a maximum of three months.

Posts, e-mails and social media contributions and messages are deleted 6 years after the end of the year in which the respective transaction takes place.

Rights of Data Subjects

According to the basic data protection regulation you are entitles to the following rights:
If your personal data are processed, your have the right to receive information about the data stored about you (art. 15 DSGVO)
If incorrect personal data are processed, you have the right to have them corrected (Art. 16 DSGVO).
If the legal requirements are met, you can demand the deletion or restriction of the processing and object to the processing (Art. 17, 18 and 21 DSGVO).
If you have consented to data processing or a data processing contract exists and data processing is carried out using automated procedures, you may be entitled to data transferability (Art. 20 DSGVO).
Should you exercise your above rights, the public authority will check whether the legal requirements for this are met.
Furthermore, you have the right to complain to the Bavarian State Commissioner for Data Protection.
